Sexual Wellness is one of the most important factors in personal and relational fulfillment. Often, when one or more systems in the body are not functioning properly, a “domino effect” can be caused that greatly impacts our sexual wellness. By looking at the neuroendocrine system, immune system and even digestive system, we can work with you to address any abnormalities or conditions impacting your sexual wellness.

Conditions We Treat:

  • Low Libido - Some medications used for mood disorders also can cause low sex drive in women. If your lack of interest in sex continues or returns and causes personal distress, this may be a sigh of low libido.

  • Menopause - Menopause is a natural process, but new treatments like Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) allow women to avoid many of the unpleasant symptoms and continue to enjoy a healthy sex life . Symptoms such as vaginal dryness, discomfort with intercourse, sleep disturbances and mood swings can all be managed and/or eliminated.

  • PMS/PMDD - Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) refers to physical and emotional symptoms that occur in the one to two weeks before a woman's period. Symptoms often vary between women and resolve around the start of bleeding. Common symptoms include acne, tender breasts, bloating, feeling tired, irritability, and mood changes. All symptoms can be mitigated with proper treatment.

  • Erectile Dysfunction - ED, Is the most common sex problem that men report to their doctor. It affects as many as 30 million men. ED is defined as trouble getting or keeping an erection that's firm enough for sex. This condition often response to treatment with testosterone and other medications.

  • Prostatitis/Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia - Is swelling and inflammation of the prostate gland, a walnut-sized gland situated directly below the bladder in men. The prostate gland produces fluid (semen) that nourishes and transports sperm. Prostatitis often causes painful or difficult urination.

How We Treat These Conditions

  • IV Therapy - Vitamin Intravenous (IV) Infusion Therapy is a medical treatment that provides vitamins, minerals and nutrients to the body. Normally injected through a vein in the arm, the contents of the IV are delivered straight into the bloodstream. Because of this, IV Therapy is far more efficient than orally ingesting supplements or vitamins. In fact, studies have shown that the body is only able to metabolize 15% of orally ingested supplements and vitamins. The other 85% is turned into waste.

  • ThermiVa - ThermiVa is the rejuvenation of vaginal tissue. Excessive stretching of the vaginal area is not uncommon after vaginal birth or aging. ThermiVa treatments use radio-frequency energy to gently heat the tissue, without discomfort or downtime. Non-invasive, non-ablative, non-surgical, and no anesthesia are required. The procedure is conveniently performed in our office and delivered at your comfort level. It is performed on both internal and external vaginal tissue.

  • Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therap (BHRT) utilizes hormones that are compounded specifically for each patient. Synthetic hormones are not used. Dr. Blay will works closely with each patient to make sure that treatment regiments are specifically tailored to meet each patients needs.
